We DO have food allergies in our class this year!
(peanuts, all tree nuts, peanut butter, egg whites, and garlic)
Our classroom is a NUT AWARE classroom. This means that children in our classroom are NOT allowed to bring in food items that contain any TREE NUTS, PEANUTS, or PEANUT BUTTER. Please make sure you read all snack and food item wrappers. Food companies will often print the list of ingredients on food wrappers. It may also list if the product has been made in a factory that processes nuts, peanuts, or peanut butter. Food companies will often change ingredients of their food from time to time. Please make sure you read food labels. Thanks for you support and understanding.
If your child has a food allergy that I not aware of please notify me or the school nurse as soon as possible. Thanks!
